Taranaki Farm is a family farm situated in Central Victoria, Australia producing nutrient rich, ‘beyond organic’ pastured beef, chicken, pork & eggs. Managed by fourth generation farmer & speaker Ben Falloon along with his partner Nina Grundner, young daughter Maya Falloon and her grandparents, Stan & Robyn Falloon.
The farm is enthusiastically supported by an ever growing collection of patrons, interns, apprentices, students and all who share our regenerative farming and community values.
Situated just north of Melbourne, Victoria (Australia) Taranaki Farm is ecologically balanced and regenerative having been designed and planned comprehensively through the pioneering work of some the worlds most respected sustainable/regenerative farming practitioners.
Our farm is also host to the Australian Polyface Project whose objective it is to establish a fully operational integrated local open Australian farm modelled on Joel Salatin’s famous Polyface Farm in Virginia USA.
To provide locals with access to an open farm and clean meat connection, while providing the broader farm and urban communities with a educational hub and forum venue for regenerative farming methods.
Both independently and in partnership with Fusion Farms (our on-farm education enterprise) & RegenAG® (a nationwide training provider co-founded by Ben Falloon), Taranaki Farm has hosted many educational programs and events that have trained over hundreds farmers from across Australia and abroad. We also offer comprehensive hands-on long term apprenticeships and short-term internships to young farm trainees looking to invigorate the agriculture sector.
