In only a few weeks, <strong>Kirk Gadzia</strong>, a top Holistic Management instructor (visiting from the USA) and <strong>Ben Falloon</strong> of Taranaki Farm will be presenting a 2-day HANDS-ON grazing practicum on the farm. <strong>Joel Salatin</strong> calls it &#8220;<strong>mob-stocking herbivorous solar conversion lignified carbon sequestration fertilisation!</strong>”. Well, at Taranaki Farm, we practice the same &#8216;salad bar beef&#8217; grazing approach as Joel with daily moves, flexible watering systems, adjustable pasture sizes and an awareness of rest and recovery periods for maximum pasture recovery. </p>

This site is about sharing all the happenings around the farm. We&#8217;re embarking on an exciting online outreach program with this new website so that we can share with you the wonderful experience of farming and our mission to produce <strong>clean, nutritious food</strong> for <strong>local communities</strong> while at the same time regenerating the land and sharing all we learn along the way with you, our valued friends, customers, students, apprentices, interns and general readers!</p>
